Park Place is a main floor condominium within a large high rise in Ottawa's west end. This renovation and decoration project started with a blank slate - my clients' only wish was to have a fireplace in their main floor condominium living room. We started designing the fireplace focal wall by creating bump-outs to conceal the fireplace box and electrical, and to create a buffer with the adjacent foyer on the right.

A "romantic" transitional style using a light monochromatic palette was determined early on, in keeping with the architecture and adjacent kitchen in this open plan space. The chairs are recovered in Robert Allen Tapir fabric with Kravet chenille pillows.  Travertine base lamps were found at Found Design, Ottawa with general contracting by 360renos.
